Natasha Bird is an award-winning journalist, editor, creative producer, consultant and speaker. A PPA ‘Rising star,’ OMA ‘Best Editor’, Media Trust mentor and judge. Her features, short documentaries and creative campaigns have won a slew of global accolades, such as PPA, One World Media and Amnesty International awards.
As Executive Editor and Digital Director of ELLE Magazine, she spent 8 years overturning and rebuilding the brand’s digital, social and creative strategy. Managing a team of brilliant creative producers, she led ELLE into a new era for digital journalism. An era of originality, boundary-pushing and globally recognised investigative long-reads, thought-provoking social campaigns, a TV presence, podcasts and unique brand collaborations.
As well as working at the fashion industry’s front lines, and engaging and supporting young creatives in design, music, film, photography and graphics, Natasha’s particular bent is championing women in all the many industries for which diversity and representation has yet to catch up to the talent pool. Whether that’s women in automotive, STEM, politics, women in the boardroom or female entrepreneurs in need of VC funding, Natasha has spent 15 years building platforms for women’s voices to be heard, as well as creating roadmaps for change.
